What is worship like?
Our Sunday service begins at 9:15. Our hymns are a mix of old and new. Some you will know, some you won't. Be comfortable and make a joyful noise. We frequently have guest musicians who share their gifts with us in song or with instruments. We welcome your gifts, too! We take Communion in each service. It is our central belief that Jesus welcomes all to the Table, so we do also. There is a Children’s time (see more below). The sermon is Biblically based and emphasizes methods for spiritual growth. The sermon generally lasts about 15-20 minutes. It focuses on how to incorporate faith into your daily life. Prior worship services are available on our YouTube channel. We pass offering plates around during the service. Many share an offering once a month. Some give online. The "Types Of Financial Gifts" playlist on our YouTube channel outlines how we use offerings. We are grateful for any amount you would like to share, but it won't be awkward if you don't place anything in the offering plate.
What's available for my children?
Worship includes a Children’s moment with a brief message for them, singing & playing instruments, and a prayer. There is a dedicated Prayground space just for them in the back of the worship area. There are activities they can enjoy there, or take back to their seats. There are opportunities for children and youth to participate in leading worship. Sunday school meets after worship September-May.

What should I expect?
People of all ages People of all ages attend worship with us. You will be warmly greeted as you come in and will be given a bulletin with info about the service, announcements, and a QR code to connect. The building is accessible and restrooms are conveniently located with changing tables and toddler seats. We wear name tags so we can all call each other by name. We sing traditional, but lively hymns in worship. We enjoy a time of visiting with coffee and goodies afterwards.

How should I dress?
Formally, informally, somewhere in between - you will see all of these. Dress in what's comfortable and appropriate to you and you will fit right in.

The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), founded on American soil in the early 1800s, is uniquely equipped to live up to its identity that it is a "Movement for wholeness in a fragmented world." The denomination was born in the 1800s, and continues to be influenced by its founding ideals of unity in Christ with openness and diversity in practice and belief. You can recognize a (DOC) church by it’s Chalice symbol:
