We've been incredibly blessed to have our Church in the Illiopolis community since 1866. Like a rock, the Church has been there for us on the corner of 3rd & Anne, sharing The Message of faith, hope, and love. In good times or bad, it has been a shining Light for six or more generations. Founded one year after the Civil War ended, it has been there for families and the community through deadly diseases, two World Wars, panics, disasters, over ten years of the Great Depression, September 11, 2001, and a factory explosion. Like our previous 156 years, we want the church building open for worship and available for such things as a meeting place, fundraisers, birthday parties, receptions and celebrations, anniversary parties, reunions, weddings, or a funeral. It is a place that makes a difference for the better and would truly be missed by the community if it was not here.
