As Jesus taught, our desire is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love our neighbors. We do this through worship, service to the community, and Christian education/Spiritual growth groups.
Exodus: Egypt to the Promised Land
What if the wilderness wasn't a detour, but the destination? The next 6 weeks we're journeying through the Exodus story together, from the ancient festival behind Pentecost to Moses standing at the threshold of everything he'd hoped for. Six weeks. One honest walk through the wild places where God meets us.
The Church In Action
We believe that expressing our faith happens with loving service. Our members serve in the community Food Pantry and the annual Santa's Elves ministry. Throughout the year we raise money for our church and give 10% to the local Backpack Project, Summer Rec Program, and other local initiatives, in which many of our members serve. We also support the ongoing ministries of our denomination in Illinois and around the world.
