As Jesus taught, our desire is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love our neighbors. We do this through worship, service to the community, and Christian education/Spiritual growth groups.
The Bible in a Year: Covenants
The Covenants series traces God’s enduring commitment to humanity from creation to resurrection, revealing a God who keeps choosing relationship even when people fall short. Through the covenants with Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, and ultimately the new covenant in Christ, we discover both who God is and who we are becoming in response to that faithful love.
The Church In Action
We believe that expressing our faith happens with loving service. Our members serve in the community Food Pantry and the annual Santa's Elves ministry. Throughout the year we raise money for our church and give 10% to the local Backpack Project, Summer Rec Program, and other local initiatives, in which many of our members serve. We also support the ongoing ministries of our denomination in Illinois and around the world.
