As Jesus taught, our desire is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love our neighbors. We do this through worship, service to the community, and Christian education/Spiritual growth groups.
Mix Tape: Spirituality in Pop Music
This July, we’re turning up the volume on faith with a sermon series called Mix Tape. Each week, we’ll explore spiritual truths through the lens of popular music—songs that speak to resilience, friendship, courage, and the hope of eternity. Whether you're a music lover, a seeker, or someone just needing a new perspective, there’s a place for you here. Come sing, reflect, and find your rhythm with God.
Songs and artists include: July 6 – “Tough People” by Drew Baldridge,July 13 – “My Best Friend” by Queen, July 20 – “Anyway” by Martina McBride, and July 27 – “Angel Band” by Tyler Childers
The Church In Action
We believe that expressing our faith happens with loving service. Our members serve in the community Food Pantry and the annual Santa's Elves ministry. Throughout the year we raise money for our church and give 10% to the local Backpack Project, Summer Rec Program, and other local initiatives, in which many of our members serve. We also support the ongoing ministries of our denomination in Illinois and around the world.
